Hello everybody! Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and learn a little more about me. My name is Julie Davis. This year will be my 7th year teaching! Hard to believe it has been that long already. I taught Pre-K for 5 years and this past year I transitioned to Kindergarten and have loved every minute of it! I teach on the Army post here at Fort Campbell, KY. We are a very transient post. I usually finish the school year with about half of the students I began with and the other half come all throughout the year. It is challenging but I love it.
I have been married for 10 years now to an amazing man and soldier! We both grew up in GA about 1/2 mile from each other. We were high school sweethearts. After high school he enlisted in the Army and we got married just before he went to basic. Fort Campbell was his first duty station and we have been so lucky to have been here for almost 10 years! I know in the next year or two we will have to move to another duty station so we are enjoying Tennessee/Kentucky as much as we can before we move. We have a wonderful 9 year old daughter, Haylee. She is going to be in 5th grade this year. I cannot believe that this will be her last year in elementary school! They grow up way to fast. (My hubby hates taking pics so it's very rare to find a picture with him in it, lol)
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and learn a little more about me. I hope that you enjoy the blog and are able to take some ideas back to your classroom!
